Comic Con reunion and the Tower of Joy
As listeners of the show, you know that Jon, Chris D., James, and I all went to Comic Con this year. I was on the scene first and met the other three together. Below is a sample of our opening dialogue. It reads much like the Tower of Joy dialogue in A Game of Thrones. This is understandable since we are four legendary men.
"I looked for you at Round Table's lunch buffet," I said to them. "We were not there," Jon answered "Woe to their toilet if I had been," said James. "When the BSG panel started, Jamie Bamber was introduced as Apollo rather than Richard Hatch, and I wondered where you were." "In line for AC3 tomahawks," Chris said, "or Richard Hatch would still be Captain Apollo, and our false CAG would be promoting Law and Order: UK." "I came down on The Dark Knight Rises panel to lift the spirits of those poor viewers who had to watch a short-haired, big-toothed Anne Hathaway talk about seduction," I told them, "and Nolan and Bale dipped their heads in shame, and all their fanboys' pants became less tight and pledged that she was the tamest of all Catwomen. I was certain you would be among them." "Our erections do not soften so easily," said Jon. "Kevin Pereira is fled from G4 to even more obscurity. I thought you might have been with him." "Pereira is a good man and funny in small doses," said Chris. "But not of the BDNS," James pointed out. "Nothing is more obscure than the BDNS." "Then or now," said Chris. He donned his owl mask. "We swore never to try too hard," explained Jon Craig. The line behind me moved up like wraiths, with shadow bags in hand. They were 500 waiting for a room to fit a fifth of that. "And now the Archer panel begins," said Chris Davis, the drunk in the morning. He unsheathed his free tomahawk and held it with both hands. The blade was as dull as Alison Bechdel, alive with .20 BAC breath. "No," I said with sadness in my voice, "They're not letting any more people in." A link to the actual dialogue for those who are not yet ASOIAF junkies. It is my favorite scene in the series so far. http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Tower_of_Joy

I can't stop laughing. Ah man, how did you even think of this.

Wrote itself, Davis. Wrote itself.
