So... Amazing Spider-man
Thoughts from the Nerdosphere?
If you went to the midnight showing, were there any cool things going on at your theater? <3 |

RE: So... Amazing Spider-man
Overall I liked it but did anybody else think that the Lizard's plan was just stupid? I didn't go to a midnight showing so I don't have any fun stories about that.

RE: So... Amazing Spider-man
His plan was kind of ridiculous but there were some moments where I genuinely felt for the guy. Not that that has anything to do with what you just said, but I thought Rhys Ifans was pretty damn good. I don't know how in-line it was with the comics but I liked him here.
But yeah, stupid plan. <3 |

RE: So... Amazing Spider-man
Thought it was good. Agree about the Lizard's overall plot. I also thought Andrew Garfield was a waaay better Spidey than Tobey Maguire. It'll be cool to see where they go with the new films.

RE: So... Amazing Spider-man
I agree with ya'll. I enjoyed it. The lizard's plan was a little stupid and over the top, but...super villain. Do super villains ever have some what normal plans?
Yes, Andrew Garfield was a much better Spiderman! I thought he did a great job. Anyone else caught the little spot after the credits? Theories on the man in the shadows? "I tell you what. RE: So... Amazing Spider-man
Zac apparently it hasn't been long enough. Get lost with that crap haha. I did go to the midnight showing, but I was pretty drunk and if anyone had stories it was probably about me.
Lizard's plan was over the top, but reminded me a lot of a comic book villain plot. Turn em all to lizards! Wait Lizard, why? Um cause I'm one now, duh. As for the man in the shadows it was rumored to be the new Norman Osborn, but that's been denied. I think it may be the Chameleon as Osborn possibly. RE: So... Amazing Spider-man
Ok I'll respect that Zac (agree to disagree) but Garfield's ass was fantastic in the suit. /shallowover
Was the girl in Peter's class with dark hair and glasses shown a few times 'anyone'? AND I wasn't sure if it was him the first time but seeing C. Thomas Howell in this was great! I've always liked him so that was cool. <3 |

RE: So... Amazing Spider-man
Can't recall that girl in his classes, far too intoxicated (really need to go watch it again sober).
And I'd bet prepare to see Howell again (unless they change actors) because I highly doubt we've seen the last of Peter's parents. Professor Davis Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters Physical Education Dept. |
