Figure it Out Remake!
So... I'm uh, still catching up on old episodes of the podcast so maybe it's been brought up but, how about that remake of Figure it Out?
I've watched two episodes now and sure, it's a lot different (no Billy the Answer Head, or J and his Beanie Babies and CERTAINLY no Danny Tamborelli slime-hairflips) but it's actually pretty entertaining. I like the host, he's not great, but he's doing what he can, I think. Also, he was Pick Boy on U-Pick-Live and the host of some other Nick shows, so he's got a bit of a resume, I guess. Episodes are up on nick.com and I'd say give it a shot! I just wish I could be a contestant. <3 |

RE: Figure it Out Remake!
I just saw a commercial for this while watching the newest Avatar. I did not know a single person that they told me was going to be on the next episode but I don't watch Nickelodeon anymore. The old Figure It Out was one of my favorites. I loved All That and Kenan and Kel so it was great to see all of them try to guess what the kids' secrets were. Also, I was in love with Summer Sanders. I'm sure the new show is just as good if you know the people. I'm glad it's back. One last thing, Lori Beth Denberg took the game too seriously and tried to guess all of the words before the kid could get the final prize. I saw Kenan purposely throw many games so the kid could win. The grand prize was a trip to Orlando, Florida and a free pass to Universal Studios. Don't be a bitch, Lori Beth.

RE: Figure it Out Remake!
I don't know any of the people (well, I know Drake Bell who has been on one episode) but I didn't know a lot of the people on the old panel prior to watching Figure it Out. (Except for like, Danny. I didn't watch much All That or Kenan and Kel, honestly).
I must be the only person in the world that liked Lori Beth, I thought it was kind of cool that she was able to guess it. I dunno, people like different things I guess. I was probably just so jealous that these kids could do something special and got on tv for it so to see them fail was kinda gratifying for me! Wow, I'm a terrible person. Anyway, I can totally see where you are coming from but I'm OBSESSED with the show. And I now have a major crush on the host, so uh yeah. Has anyone else checked it out? Or check out the forums anymore? Did I miss something? <3 |

I still think Lori Beth was/is funny. (Check out this new season of Workaholics) but it's like Nickelodeon wasn't even offering anything worthwhile so I say give the kids the prize. Josh was my all time favorite. He was hysterical. I used to think of him as a young Jim Carrey on All That. For a child actor, his impressions were pretty spot on. I'm sure the show is just as good but I don't know what the rules are about a 28 year old man without children or nephews/nieces watching Nickelodeon. Pretty sure society frowns upon it.

I guess I can understand where you're coming from with the grand prizes. I'll leave it at that.
Also, Josh was great. He was fantastic! Live I've said, I didn't watch a lot of All That (and I don't know if I'd 'get it' now), but he was always great on Figure it Out. As for the age thing... well you have a good point. I guess! <3 |

I loved Keenan and Kel - "who loves orange soda?"
That was probably my favorite show on Nickelodeon, i even have my own copy of good burger on DVD. Although seperated from each other I find neither funny. I know Keenan is on SNL now, Is kel even alive? This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war. |
