Rex Velvet Can Do No Wrong

Rex Velvet is at it again people, but this time it’s in conjunction with the Make A Wish Foundation. 12 yr old Colby, or Agent C, was given a mission to find and capture Rex Velvet because he kidnapped Seahawks mascot Blitz and another make a wish kid. Apparently this was a 24 hr ordeal as well with a helicopter/boat chase scene and a silly string fight in the end. How is that not the most awesome thing to do. Rex Velvet, truly the people’s villain. Here’s more information from the local Washington news:

The local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation will grant 300 wishes this year to some very deserving and brave kids.

One boy, Colby — otherwise known as Special Agent C — let Q13 FOX News tag along for the latest adventure.

Twelve-year-old Colby’s wish was to catch a super villain who was up to no good.

“I’m trying to stop my arch-nemesis called Rex Velvet,” Special Agent C said. And he was up for the challenge.

Diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy when he was just a baby, Colby is unable to walk, is losing function in his hands and has trouble eating. He’s already overcome great odds and now, thanks toMake-A-Wish, he was living out his dream of being a stealth special agent.

After a top-secret strategy meeting, Special Agent C and his team were off to stop Rex Velvet and his evil doings. The team chased down clues on the streets of Seattle and they found some fur on a piece of duct tape that led them to a crime scene.

It appeared that Rex Velvet has kidnapped Seahawks mascot Blitz and Robin Hall, a former Make-A-Wish kid. Now, Special agent C was going to have to take to the sky to catch the crook.

The team headed to Boeing Field, where they hop into a helicopter to aid in their search for Rex. Once they found him, a Silly String fight ensued to determine the outcome.

From the air, Special Agent C spotted Rex Velvet on Lake Washington and went in for the rescue. Finally, a Silly String fight felled Rex and the mission was complete.

“It was great — I caught Rex Velvet in the helicopter and then we had a Silly String fight,” Colby said.

Colby’s wish was the 5,000th wish granted by the local chapter. Pulling it off took months of preparation and planning.

In the end, it was nothing short of spectacular – kind of like Special Agent C who celebrated his 12th birthday while he was fighting crime.

“It’s probably the best birthday anybody is going to get,” he said, beaming.

This is the greatest thing ever. What a wonderful story this was to read. Rex Velvet is a cool guy and certainly the best of the costumed characters running around. I would have also accepted him kicking this child in the face and blowing up a portion of Rain City if he had decided to go down that route.
