Ray Bradbury, Sci-Fi Legend Passes

RIP Ray Bradbury 1920-2012

Ray Bradbury, 91 (1920-2012), sci-fi author and visionary passed yesterday evening. An amazing mind that brought us the works of Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, & Something Wicked This Way Comes. Personally I’ve only read The Martian Chronicles and was pretty blown away and intend on reading that again along with his other works. Along with the many rewards he has received, an award named after him, he also has an asteroid and a park named after him. He will never be forgotten and thank you Mr. Bradbury for all you gave to our culture.

I was deeply saddened to hear this news. The man was a science fiction legend and an all-around good writer. I regret that none of you got to see him at Comic Con. I found his forum to be interesting and fun. Despite his advanced age, he was very engaging and had the patience to listen to all of the “authors” in the audience ask their predictable questions about getting in the business. His list of works speaks for itself. He will be remembered for a long time.
