Definitely a slow weekend at the box office and we’ll probably see The Lorax continue to dominate unless people get with it and go see John Carter. Seriously go see it. You’ll be very pleasantly surprised. I will say that when I looked at the releasing this week I felt like I really dropped the ball. Why you might ask? Because Nic Cage is releasing a movie and I had no idea about it. Beware however because you’re now entering the twilight zone and here’s why…

Forgot the story. Forget how awesome Guy Pearce is. And forgot that someone was dumb enough to cast January Jones after X-Men First Class. But do my eyes deceive me or does Nic Cage actually seem like a decent actor here? I mean granted it looks like it could have some possible freak out moments, but none were in the trailer. I’m semi speechless right now and a little intrigued to see this. So confused right now.

Creepy/skinny Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, and the OG Ice Cube all in one movie. Not just any movie either. A remake of a movie that had no reason to be remade. Were the effects just not up to par enough? Jonah, go back to being chubby so we can laugh again you prick. This whole production is just offensive and I want nothing to do with anyone involved in it…except the girls in the movie that are trying to pass as high school aged girls, but clearly aren’t. You all may still call me.

Will little to no advertising for this film, I really don’t know what to expect. I know it’s a comedy…I think. At least the information says it is. I mean it’s Will Ferrell. He’ll at least try to be funny. I think I’m just still confused about Nic Cage and when I realized this was out to my mind just kinda caved in. There’s no way I’ll see this in theaters, but I’m a little intrigued when it finally hits Netflix. If you’re Latino I’d probably stay away from this movie. It’ll probably…no it’ll definitely be pretty offensive.
